Why do we recommend the crêperie?
M anekin is very popular in Poland for good reason. There is almost always a queue in front of the restaurant in Warsaw’s city center. Above all, it’s about value for money. Because it’s “just” pancakes, the prices are not very high—and let’s be honest: what can you really do wrong with a pancake? But that’s also the second reason: for being just pancakes, the operators have come up with quite a few interesting and tasty ideas. A total of 55 (!!!) different ways to enjoy your pancake to the fullest! Hats off!
As a breakfast option, they also offer something like a pancake burger with spinach leaves, tomato, and dip! We tried it! (Only at the location at Plac Konstytucji 5 / Inner City South)
Both locations are situated on the main street, Marszałkowska. The Manekin at Plac Konstytucji is also located at a major transport hub. You experience Warsaw city life up close. There is no Old Town atmosphere here, but it’s not disturbing—rather interesting.
