Where is a good place to have breakfast in Warsaw? We present our favourite places in different areas and neighbourhoods. You’ll meet us in one of these cafés, bars and bistrós.
Breakfast markets
The breakfast markets in Warsaw are a very special alternative to a hotel breakfast, which is why we place them at the very top of our list. Please note, however, that they only take place during the summer season (April–September).
Old Town
The Old Town is the area within the medieval city walls, stretching between Castle Square and the Royal Castle in the south and the Barbican in the north.
City Centre
The city centre is the area directly surrounding the Palace of Culture, including the “Centrum” and “Świętokrzyska” metro stations on one side, and the Central Railway Station together with the InterContinental Hotel on the other side.
Inner City North
The Inner City North begins at the Świętokrzyska metro station and extends northwards.
Inner City South
The Inner City South begins at the Centrum metro station and extends southwards.
