Hello! My name is Kasia (Kate)!

I love to travel, and for me, being a tour guide is a journey in itself. It’s a trip back in time, but also a journey among people from all over the world with whom, for about two hours, we form a group to experience Warsaw’s history together.

Being a tour guide in Warsaw with all my heart requires endless curiosity and a fresh perspective on streets and buildings that seem so familiar from daily life. As a mindfulness teacher, I allow myself to see these well-known places through the eyes of a tourist – as if I was discovering them for the very first time. This creates the perfect space for genuine wonder. Sometimes it is preceded by nostalgia for what once was, and other times by deep emotion that my city has risen again and thrives. Connecting with these feelings keeps my passion alive, allowing me to share stories with my groups not just from the mind, but straight from the heart.

I am deeply passionate about Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries, having lived in both Spain and Portugal. I became a licensed Warsaw tour guide in 2018, initially leading tours in Spanish. When the 2020 pandemic hit, it took away Warsaw’s visitors and left me without work. Fortunately, I soon returned to the trail, and today I am thrilled to guide travelers from around the globe as part of the wonderful Walking Warsaw’s team.
