Bistró Warszawa
per person
Bistró Warszawa on the Market Square in the Old Town of Warsaw is a very inconspicuous restaurant and perhaps for that reason not overrun by tourists. The cuisine is Polish, but with a modern touch. A specialty of the house is pierogi with duck meat or liver with pear.
Why do we recommend this restaurant?
Around 10 a.m., life gradually returns to the Old Town. Very slowly at first, but steadily, and by around noon the tourist groups already occupy the entire length and width of the Market Square. Cafés and restaurants can therefore become quite crowded. One restaurant, the Bistró Warszawa discussed here, on the other hand, exudes calm and serenity. It is located in one of the corners of the Market Square, the name sign is not immediately visible, and the tables outside appear to belong to the neighboring restaurant.
Inside, the bistro presents itself as very modern and stylish. It is cozily furnished, and the tables are spaced far enough apart.
The menu
The cuisine is very good! The pierogi or the liver with pears taste excellent. Other, simpler dishes are also well worth a visit. We are also impressed by the selection of high-quality vodkas and wines. Overall, the menu is manageable. There are also successful options for children. The author has clearly put thought into it and compiled a nice list.
