Milk bar Zabkowski
The Zabkowski Milk Bar is located in the heart of the notorious Praga district. The bar takes its name from the street of the same name, Zabkowska, the main artery of the district.
Why do we recommend this milk bar?
I t is not commonly known that the first milk bar in history opened in Warsaw in the 19th century. In Warsaw itself, the whole milk bar flair comes across autentically in Praga, especially in the Zabkowski bar. The cuisine, like in all milk bars, is very simple. And that’s what it’s all about here. Milk bars are, in our eyes, the most democratic place in Warsaw and Poland. Representatives of all social classes sit next to each other here. Join them!

You have to order everything separately here and there are numerous dishes without meat, such as Ruthenian pierogi (cheese and potato dough) or pierogi with sauerkraut and mushrooms. As a vegetarian, however, you should not hope for refined meals here.

The bar has no website and only a Facebook profile: @barzabkowski
There is no menu in online format. Means: come by and enjoy! Something will turn up.
Unfortunately, the bar is not suitable for people with disabilities. There are a few stairs to climb and the door is quite narrow. So some help is needed.
