The Neon Museum in Warsaw is one of the most beautiful and original museums in the city. The glowing tubes are an essential part of Warsaw’s history, which is kept alive here.
TO ALL INSTAGRAMERS There are so many colours and possibilities for photos and videos here. Let’s go…
Short description
W e met the owners personally and quickly realised how much love was put into this project. The exhibition is visited relatively quickly, but if you venture a little closer to the neon tubes, the tour takes on an unexpectedly interesting shape. Warsaw fell under the spell of neon early on and is once again picking up on this legacy, which has faded somewhat in recent times. Meanwhile, more and more neon projects are popping up on the city’s streets.
And while you’re here, you can explore the Praga South district. Everything to the right of the Vistula is simply called Praga. There’s a lot to tell about it (and we do, but elsewhere).
We recommend a guided tour with one of the in-house museum guides. If you would like a guided tour in German or English with us, send us a request.
In Culture Tourist, the Neon Museum was included in the list of 15 must-visit museums in 2021.
