museum-sport-tourism-warsawSports and tourism from the beginnings to modern times in Poland and around the world at the Sports and Tourism Museum.

Short description

T[/mkdf_dropcaps he permanent exhibition bears the resonant name “The History of Polish Sports and the Olympic Movement.”

Presented in chronological order are the Olympic Games from ancient Greece to modern times. Both ancient and modern sports are showcased, along with detailed information on outstanding achievements of Polish athletes.

A notable attraction is the wall displaying all Polish medals from the Olympic Games. A highlight is the private kayak of John Paul II, who was known for his love of sports.

For a visual experience, you can explore a beautiful photo gallery on the museum’s website through the following link.

Our tips in the vicinity

Restaurant Moonsfera

On the roof, there is a very nice restaurant called Moonsfera. The restaurant is located on the higher floors, providing a beautiful view of the Warsaw skyline. We highly recommend the restaurant.

Riverside Walk

We have a special recommendation for those who enjoy taking walks. From the museum, you can leisurely stroll along the river to the Old Town. After 3 kilometers, you’ll already be at the height of the Old Town, and just another 3 kilometers will take you to the Swietokrzyska Bridge, where the metro station is located and where the liveliest atmosphere can be found! Additionally, the path along the riverbank seamlessly transitions into the modernized Vistula Boulevard. I can only say: It’s worth it!

By the way, the Vistula Boulevard is on our TOP 10 list of Warsaw attractions.
