Short description
The Chopin Museum shows the life of the musical genius in a very orderly manner. Guests can decide whether they just want to skim over a topic or delve a little deeper into it. The exhibition is arranged according to stages of his life. There is the opportunity to simply relax and enjoy his music, even the little-known pieces.
Two pianos on which Frédéric Chopin played (both by Pleyel) are on display in the museum.
The palace itself is also a real eye-catcher. The Zebrzydowski Palace has a beautiful terrace, which also explains the existence of the Vistula embankment by itself.
We didn’t put the museum on our Best-of-Warsaw-list for no reason. Chopin is a Warsaw child. If you want to understand Warsaw, you have to take a closer look at Chopin. But the museum is also recommended for music laymen.
Accesibility
For people with reduced mobility, especially wheelchair users, there are lifts that allow access to all levels of the museum. There is a bell in Tamka Street so that someone from the reception can come to help.
It is best to announce the need for assistance before visiting the museum by email or phone: +48 22 44 16 251 / 252 | bilety.muzeum@nifc.pl.
