Starting from Grzybowski Square, the tour leads past the Nożyk Synagogue – the only surviving synagogue in Warsaw – to remnants of the ghetto wall, quiet memorial sites, and historic streets. At every stop, your guide shares moving stories about daily life in the ghetto, about courage, resistance, and so-called “silent heroes” whose actions often remained hidden. Itinerary

1. Grzybowski Square & All Saints Church

Meet your local guide at historic Grzybowski Square, once part of one of Warsaw’s most important Jewish neighbourhoods and later incorporated into the Warsaw Ghetto.

2. Nożyk Synagogue

See Warsaw’s only surviving pre-war synagogue and learn about the religious and cultural life of the city’s Jewish community before the Second World War.

3. Janusz Korczak Monument

Learn about Janusz Korczak, the renowned educator and doctor who remained with the children of his orphanage during the Holocaust.

4. Remnants of the Warsaw Ghetto Wall

Visit one of the surviving sections of the ghetto wall and learn how the German occupation authorities isolated hundreds of thousands of Jewish residents from the rest of Warsaw.

5. Warsaw Ghetto Museum

See the historic former Bersohn and Bauman Children’s Hospital, which is being transformed into the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, and learn about everyday life and medical care in the ghetto.

6. Waliców Street

Walk along one of the few streets where traces of Warsaw’s pre-war Jewish neighbourhood and the former ghetto can still be seen today.

7. Chłodna Street & Bridge of Memory

The route and order of stops may be adjusted due to weather conditions, street closures, public events, security restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control. During major events in Warsaw, we may use an alternative route, but the advertised starting and ending points will remain unchanged.

Unexpected events

Access to churches, gardens and other sites is subject to opening hours, religious services, private events and unexpected closures. Entry cannot be guaranteed.

Not wheelchair accessible

Please note that the tour involves approximately two hours of walking on cobblestone streets, uneven surfaces, slopes and occasional steps. It is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with significantly reduced mobility.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the start of the activity free of charge.
For cancellations between 24 and 48 hours before the start, a 70% cancellation fee applies.
Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the activity are non-refundable.
