    What you can expect

Embark on a discovery of a special kind with the city guide. He will show you or the group a total of 9 churches, each telling a different story.

It is not a guided tour under art-historical or purely architectural aspects. Rather, it is about looking at the special features of the churches. The guide is not an art historian and looks at the buildings with the same eyes as you do. After so many years, he is now able to filter out the subtleties and special features of the houses of prayer. He wants to pass on this knowledge and introduce you to his Warsaw from a completely different perspective.

The history behind the church buildings is as dramatic and full of energy as the history of the city itself. They all witnessed Warsaw’s Golden Age, but also its decay and ruin, and it all took place in the last three centuries. If you come to Warsaw in the 21st century, you notice almost nothing of this. We would like to convey this interplay of modernity and the past, because this is possible in Warsaw in a very special way.
