walking-warsawThe first church of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church in Warsaw. It is still being decorated, but is already worth seeing.

This is a touristic overview of the church. For a detailed description, please click the box below.

In Warsaw, no entrance fee is charged to enter the houses of prayer.

Excluded are crypts or museums located mostly in the basement area. The crypts in this church are unfortunately not open to the public.

Please note: The church is closed, when there is no Holy Mess. Please be sure to ask the administration before visiting (they will be happy to help) or contact us. Use the contact form at the end of this overview.

Short description

The house of prayer was completed in 2020. The Hagia Sophia in Istanbul was taken as a model. The church administration told us that it will take about two years until the interior and the surroundings will be finished, i.e. around 2022. But already now, masses are held there regularly and if you call in advance, someone will gladly come by to open the church for guests.

Accessibility

Everything around the church is still a construction site. There is also no proper access road. I advise people with limited mobility not to visit this church without a valid reason and without an escort.
