Excluded are crypts or museums located mostly in the basement area. The crypts in this church are unfortunately not open to the public.

How to get
Only 350 metres further is the metro station "Ratusz Arsenal". From the Old Town it is 1 km (Castle Square or Barbakan).

Short description

The church was consecrated in 1880 after fourteen years of construction. The architect Adolf Loewe (actually a Polish architect) is the originator of this neo-Gothic construction.

The house of prayer suffered numerous damages during the war, especially during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944, but was quickly rebuilt. To the north of the church was the Jewish Ghetto.


The church is barrier-free.
